Honeybees swarm in the Spring as a natural part of a colony’s lifecycle. However, they often land in a spot that is undesirable to their human neighbors. Sometimes they stop to rest on a tree or structure, but occasionally they take up permanent residency inside the walls of a home or unused chimney.
Honeybees can cause an enormous amount of damage inside of a home. They begin building comb immediately upon entering, then fill it with nectar and honey as their population quickly increases. Although some property owners may be tempted by the relatively inexpensive and quick fix of pesticides, this won’t actually solve the long-term problem. The presence of wax, honey, and dead bees with the walls will actually draw future swarms to the same place, as well as additional pests, such as rats and ants. To eliminate the problem, both the bees and their hive need to be removed completely. We are able to provide this service.
Using gentle methods, we remove honeybees and find them a more appropriate permanent home in a hive. Our aim is to prevent the use of pesticides against honeybees (or native bees) to keep these beneficial insects from harm while keeping people safe.
Honeybee removal services can include a range of situations, and each instance is a little different. In the past few years, we have gotten plenty of experience with a variety of bee removal situations.
